Our objective was to create a room that had a magical theme and yet could be updated easily as the child grew. Our storybook princess concept began with ceiling pendants that seem to float in our blue sky above. The drama is focused on the incredible bed, complete with chandelier and drapery panels that can close to create a private retreat. Functional custom furniture pieces made the best of this small space and a bit of whimsy added the final touch! The adjoining, private bath was treated with the same respect for the existing architectural details of this 100-year-old home. Creativity in children’s spaces is a must for developing memories that last a lifetime!
